Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Names or locations entered in a search tool are sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and delivers its results. We do not retain or log those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
We retain an email or contact submission long enough to answer and maintain the related correspondence. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.

We do not maintain, compile, or sell a database of personal criminal records. The site identifies official routes through Waterbury Police, Connecticut Superior Court, the DESPP State Police Bureau of Identification, the Connecticut Department of Correction, and the Connecticut Sex Offender Registry. Connecticut has no operating county sheriff or county jail system. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is never assembled into a consumer report or a record about another person.

Search boxes on this site are powered by outside companies. Anything you enter into those tools is processed under the partner's own privacy policy, not this one. Those partners set their own data-retention and sharing practices, and we do not control them. Review the partner's policy before submitting a search.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Waterbury Police, Connecticut court portals, state agencies, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor follows one, the destination's privacy policy controls. Review that policy before providing personal details.
